Fr. Thomas R. Physician
In a 5/2004 civil suit filed by four men against four priests, a man alleged that Physician had abused him at Precious Blood parish from age 14 to 17 in the early 1970s. Physician, who had retired in 2002, was placed on leave 1/3/2004. Police investigated but no charges filed. The Archdiocese said charges were “serious and substantive.” Physician died 8/23/2004. Included on the Archdiocese’s list of credibly accused 6/10/2019.
