Fr. John G. Pisarcik
Arrested and charged in 1991 with sexually abusing two boys under age 13 1989-1991. Admitted the abuse. Pleaded guilty in 1992. Sentenced in 1/1993 to five years at Avenel Adult Diagnostic and Treatment Center. Released in 12/1995 after three years. Sent to NM for treatment. Two civil suits were filed in 1994 on behalf of the victims. Included 2/13/2019. on the Paterson diocese’s list of credibly accused. A lawsuit filed in 12/2019 claims Pisarcik sexually abused a boy, beginning when he was age 15, 1978-1990.
