Fr. Raymond C. Plourde
Personnel file released in 12/2002 shows Plourde admitted in 1992 to initiating a sexual “relationship” with a 12-year-old boy in 1976 that lasted two years. Plourde reached a private settlement with the victim in 1990 for about $38K. The victim reported the abuse to the Archdiocese in 1992 and asked for the return of pornographic pictures Plourde took of him. Plourde was sent for treatment and then allowed to work as chaplain at a convent until he retired in 2/2002. Assigned to a life of prayer and penance in 2004. Included on the archdiocese’s list in 8/2011. Died 4/17/2013.
