Parish priest, pastor, high school teacher and principal. The Diocese announced on 7/25/2019 that Porter was removed from ministry and his faculties suspended due to an allegation it received on 3/1/2019 of sexual misconduct with a teenager 38 years prior. Per the diocese, the state police closed its investigation 7/19/2019 due to the statute of limitations. The abuse allegedly occurred at Our Lady of Fatima in New Castle. Wilmington police were continuing to investigate similar allegations.
