Fr. James J. Powderly
Accused in 2005 phone calls with the Archdiocese and in a police report of sexually abusing a boy 1974-1977, beginning when the boy was age 14. The abuse allegedly included masturbating the boy. Also accused of abusing the boy’s sister. Powderly died 10/8/2004. Included on the Archdiocese’s list 10/15/2018. It noted that the abuse was first reported in 1997, and that Powderly retired without faculties in 1997.
