Per Order, Prado was stripped of all clerical authority in 1991 after accusations that he abused boys, and because of his theological opinions. At least five known alleged victims; civil suit filed 2/04. As of 1/03 Prado was celebrating mass and marrying couples in Costa Rica (without official permission). Child welfare agency in Costa Rica were investigating circumstances of two minors living on the grounds of the “Sanctuary” operated by a “doomsday group.” On Corpus Christi diocese’s list 1/31/19. On Amarillo and Victora diocese’s and San Antonio archdiocese’s lists 1/31/19. “Event” alleged to have occurred in the Amarillo diocese when Prado was conducting a mission. On San Angelo diocese’s list 2/13/19. Laicized in 2006. Deceased.
