Removed in 3/11, age 76, after recent abuse claim dating to 1957, 17 years prior to ordination. He denied the allegation. Retired pastor of Sacred Heart in Margaretville. D.A.’s office chose not to pursue criminal charges. Diocese later admitted that there were several allegations received in 2010. Died 7/17/14 and received a long obituary praising his priesthood. Diocese later apologized for the obituary, saying it was inappropriate due to his suspended privileges.
