Fr. John T. Reed
Multiple allegations of abuse of boys. At least one claim against Reed was included in a 3/2008 $4.7M settlement with the archdiocese involving claims against 9 priests. The abuse allegedly occurred at St. Mary’s in Dubuque in 1963-1964. Reed died 4/16/1976. At least one more claim was included in an 8/2013 $5.2M out-of-court settlement involving 10 priests and 26 victims.
