In 1986, 2002 and 2005 Diocese received reports of abuse. Accused of abusing two brothers 1975-86. Sent to treatment 1986-87. He denied claims but wrote apologetic letter to boys’ parents in 1988. Left priesthood in 1989. Suit filed in 1995. Dismissed on SOL. Appealed to KS Supreme Court which reversed 7/96 and sent back down for trial. Case settled in mid-1990s. Laicized in 2006. On diocese’s list 3/29/19.
