Given name Donald Loiselle. Joined the Marists in 1949. Professed first vows in 1951. School teacher, principal, guidance counselor, athletic director, finance officer. Worked in MA, NY, NJ, PA. Named publicly as accused by Attorney Mitchell Garabedian in 5/2021. Richard allegedly sexually abused a girl, ages 15-17, 1986-1988, while assigned to Roselle Catholic High School in Roselle, NJ. The girl was a student. A claim in the case was settled in 2021 in the low six figures. Richard celebrated 75 years as a Marist brother in 2026.
