Fr. Oscar A. Rodriguez
Oscar Alexander “Paul” Rodriguez abused an altar boy, age 11 or 12, 1966-67. The boy’s mother told church authorities. Removed and sent for treatment, first to a KY mental hospital, then to the Servants of the Paraclete in NM. Never reinstated. His victim filed a police report in 1993. Rodriguez pled guilty to fondling. Sentenced to 4 months in jail (with balance of five-year sentence suspended) and 10 years probation. Admitted abuse of others during trial. Working as clinical psychologist at CA Men’s Colony, a prison, at time of arrest. Included on Santa Fe archdiocese list of accused 9/12/17. On Richmond diocese’s list 2/13/19.
