Br. Peter Russell
Joined the Xaverian Brothers in 1948. Taught in KY, Brooklyn NY, Utica NY, Danvers MA. Worked at St. Joseph Regional High School in Montavale NJ for about 30 years, as teacher, vice-principal, then principal 1980-1993. He also coached tennis at the school. Director of vocations for the order’s St. Joseph Province 1993-1995. In early 1995 Russell became a religion teacher and guidance counselor at Alemany High School in Mission Hills, CA. He died 11/4/1995. Accused in a 7/2020 lawsuit of the sexual abuse of a boy, ages 14-17, from about 1980-1983.
