Placed on leave in 2003 from part-time work in the Albany diocese after the Brooklyn diocese said he may have abused someone more than 50 years prior. Had been working in the Albany diocese for 25 years after moving there to care for his aging parents. Named Albany Diocesan Scouting Chaplain in 1994. The alleged victim contacted the Brooklyn diocese in 2002; a preliminary investigation deemed the allegation credible. Schuck retired in about 2000 and died 4/22/2014. His name was included on the Brooklyn diocese’s list in 2/2019. Included on Albany’s list in 10/2022.
