Fr. Joseph E. Shields
Shields was accused in 2004 of sexually abusing a junior high school boy on an Exeter golf course in about 1974, the same year he became pastor of St. Michael’s in Exeter. His accuser also reported abuse by another priest and a teacher at his school. Shields was living in FL in 2004. He died at age 94 on 2/25/2005.
