Pastor of St. John’s in Jeanerette when diocese announced 11/1/18 that Simoneaux was placed on leave due to an allegation of “improper behavior with minors” over 30 years prior. The incidents reportedly occurred while Simoneaux was assigned to St. Anthony’s Church and St. Edmund High School in Eunice, and St. Anne’s in Youngsville. Diocese and police investigating.
