Fr. Joseph R. Smith
Named publicly as accused on the Savannah diocese’s list 11/8/2018. Noted to have worked in the diocese 1924-1952. Died in 1952. Included in the 3/24/2023 GA PAC Report. Allegation received in 2005 that Smith sexually abused a fourth-grade girl in 1952 at St. Anthony’s in Atlanta.
