Fr. Leon C. Spalding
A woman filed suit in 4/03 alleging that she was molested as a minor by Spalding after confession in the early 1970s. Spalding denied the accusations. Reportedly Spalding retired in 3/03 after facing an unrelated accusation involving an adult woman. This information came from a letter that Archbishop Kelly read to Spalding’s parishioners in 3/03. Shown as retired in the 2009 Catholic Directory.
