Fr. R. Mansfield Starks
Ordained in 1942. Assigned to parishes in Albany, Canajoharie, and Schenectady before becoming pastor of of St. Joan of Arc in Menands. Pastor for 22 years until his retirement in 1990 of Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville. Continued to minister at Immaculate Conception in retirement, until 9/2001. Was also on the board of directors for St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, and was chaplain for the East Glenville Fire Department. For ten years Starks was diocesan director of cemeteries. He died 3/15/2004. Named publicly as accused by the Diocese on its list revised 11/30/2018. Brother of accused priest Donald Starks.
