Fr. Albert A. Sylvia
Parish priest for several years in Peru, and in Pepperell, Lynn, Chelsea, Boston, Lawrence, and Peabody MA. Was also spiritual director and teacher at the archdiocesan seminary. Accused in a lawsuit settled in 2026 of sexually abusing a boy, ages 12-14, many times from 1974 to 1976. The abuse allegedly took place at St. Joseph’s in Lynn, where Sylvia was assigned.
