Fr. Robert Bruce Thompson
A 5/94 suit alleged that Thompson and Fr. T. Stocker assaulted boys 1963-67. Per the suit, Stocker did most of the abuse while Thompson watched. Thompson allegedly assaulted one boy. Lower court dismissed on SOL. Affirmed by Court of Appeals. Thompson worked in the Green Bay diocese until he moved in 1984 to Tucson’s St. Joseph Hospital. In 1987 he moved to the Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Placed on administrative leave by diocese in 1995. Died in 1999. On Green Bay diocese’s list 1/17/19. It notes a single substantiated allegation of abuse occurring in about the 1970s.
