Named publicly as accused by the Diocese of Alexandria on its list 2/6/2019. Allegation to the Review Board in 2014 of abuse of a male minor in 1967. Tisch left active ministry in the Roman Catholic Church in 1968. He moved to Melbourne, FL where he joined the Liberal Catholic Church and had a career as a social worker. In 1986 Tisch was elected bishop of the Liberal Catholic Church for the Eastern United States. He died in 2007 “publicly separated from the [Roman Catholic] Church.” A review of his file in 2019 showed more evidence of the sexual abuse of male minors; deemed credible by the Review Board.
