Monsignor. Former secretary to then-Archbishop Theodore McCarrick. Held a number of prominent chancery positions. Placed on leave in in 10/2014 due to an allegation that he sexually abused a boy in the mid-1970s while assigned to a Bergenfield parish. His accuser received a settlement in 2016. The Archdiocese deemed the allegation credible. A canonical process initiated in 2015 was ongoing in 2/2019. Trabold died 4/17/2022.
