Fr. Robert Trevino
Accused in a 1995 civil lawsuit of sexually assaulting a youth in 1993 in the St. Joseph Parish rectory in Alice, TX. The suit also named Bishop Gracida, the Diocese of Corpus Christi, the NCCB/USCC, the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Archbishop Flores of San Antonio, and the Catholic Church. Police investigated in 1994. No action taken. After the complaint, Trevino became an Air Force chaplain. In 1995 he was assigned to Holloman AFB in NM. Laicized 12/6/2012. Included on the Corpus Christi diocese’s list 1/31/2019, noting that he was removed from ministry in 1995. On the Las Cruces diocese’s list 6/24/2019.
