Fr. Gerald S. Twomey
Twomey was placed on leave without privileges after the diocese received an allegation on 5/31/07 that he had abused a 10-year-old boy 1994-95. Both the diocese and police investigated. Twomey denied all allegations. He was arrested in 3/08 for the alleged abuse of an adult male in 2006. Included in 3/21 on the diocese’s list of accused. Abuse allegedly occurred at St. Anne’s in Brentwood, where he was assigned 6/94-6/05, St. John’s in Bohemia, where he was assigned 6/81-6/85, St. Francis Hospital, where he worked 6/88-2/90, among other places.
