Fr. Eugene Vollmer
Accused by two people in 3/02. Both said they had previously reported abuse to the diocese, but nothing was done. One said he reported abuse when it occurred and again in 1991. Another said he reported it in 1994. Vollmer still active until 2002. He was identified as Priest D in the 1/03 Grand Jury report. He admitted to at least 12 victims, according to the report. Vollmer would supply wine, marijuana and porn videos. Laicized 6/16/04. Died in 2016. Accused in a lawsuit filed in 8/19 of abusing a 16-year-old parishioner of St. Joseph’s in Ronkonkoma in 1975. Included on the diocese’s list of accused in 3/21.
