Fr. Charles H. White
In 8/19 the diocese announced that it had deemed credible an allegation that White sexually abused a minor 1974-78, while assigned to American Martyrs Church in Queens. The allegation was made via a reporting line 3/29/18 and law enforcement was notified. During the investigation it was discovered that that another allegation had been made 2/1/99, and in 4/04 the diocese determined it was not credible. The case was reopened and, this time, the allegations were deemed credible. White was permanently removed from ministry 7/1/19.
