Fr. Thomas Wopperer
Placed on leave in 9/21 pending the investigation of an allegation of abuse reportedly discovered in documents filed in the diocese’s bankruptcy case. Age 83 and retired when suspended. Wopperer denied the allegation. On 6/23/22 the diocese announced that the its review board found the allegation unsubstantiated and Wopperer was returned to ministry.
