Fr. Camillus Wurtz
In 2004 a man complained to St. Benedict’s Abbey that Wurtz had molested him when the man was a boarding student at Maur Hill-Mount Academy during the 1960s. The abbot kept Wurtz in ministry until 2/04, after the Review Board deemed the allegation credible and recommended Wurtz’s removal. Still a priest at St. Benedict’s Abbey in Atchison as of a 2/06 website post. Died 8/16/13.
