Ordained for the Diocese of Youngstown. Incardinated into the Diocese of Phoenix in 4/1983. Removed from public ministry in 11/2018 after an allegation that Zapitelli engaged in “sexual misconduct” with a minor in the mid-1970s as a Youngstown priest. Included on Youngstown diocese’s list 10/29/2018. Included on the Phoenix diocese’s list 10/29/2019.
