  Templeton Man Ordained Friday Morning at Rome

Rev. Clarence Schoeppner, son of Mrs. John Schoeppner of Templeton, was ordained to the holy priesthood at Rome, Italy, Friday morning.

Rev. Father Schoeppner is completing his third year at the North American college, Rome, where he was sent by Arch Bishop Gerken of Santa Fe, New Mexico. On his return to the United States in the next few weeks, he will visit his mother at Templeton before going to Santa Fe, where he will be stationed under Arch Bishop Gerken.

Rev. Father Schoeppner attended St. Thomas Seminary at Denver, Colo., for one year before going to Rome. Prior to that he had spent a year at Conception college, Conception, Mo., and had graduated from Trinity college, Sioux City.

He is a cousin of Rev. L. Schoeppner, pastor of Holy Family church, Lidderdale.
