FAIRHAVEN -- The name of the Rev. James R. Nickel, SS.CC., was inadvertently omitted from a listing of pastors of St. Mary Church in North Fairhaven in story dealing with the 75th anniversary of the parish that was published on the religious news page of The Standard-Times on Nov. 13.

Father Nickel was pastor of St. Mary Church from August 1983 to March 1993, serving between the pastorates of the Rev. Matthew Sullivan, SS.CC, and the Rev. Benedict Folger, SS.CC.

Father Nickel is now serving with the Sacred Hearts Fathers on an assignment outside the Fall River Diocese.
