Official Appointments

Archbishop John J. Myers has announced the following appointments:

ARCHDIOCESAN

AGENCY / MINISTRY

Reverend Monsignor Michael a. Andreano, Personal Secretary to Archbishop John J. Myers and

Director/Master of Ceremonies for Pontifical Liturgies, was also appointed Chancellor of the

Archdiocese of Newark, effective Nov. 1.

Reverend Charles Kelly, Special Assistant to Archbishop John J. Myers, was also appointed

Vice Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Newark, effective Nov. 1. He

was also appointed Co-Director of the Office of Continuing Education and Ongoing Formation of

Priests, effective Oct. 22.

Reverend Michael Fugee, Director of  the Office of the Propagation of the Faith in the Archdiocese

of Newark, was also appointed Co-Director of the Office of Continuing Education and Ongoing

Formation of Priests, effective Oct. 22.

PASTOR

Reverend Gerard J. Graziano, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish, Hackensack, has been

granted an extension of his pastorate for one more year, ending Jan. 31, 2013.

PAROCHIAL VICAR:

Reverend Lope Lesigues, Parochial Vicar of Presentation Parish, Upper Saddle River, has had

his appointment extended through July 2015.

Reverend Michael Sgarioto, O. Carm., has been appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Anastasia Parish,

Teaneck, effective Jan. 1, 2013. DEAN

Reverend Thomas J. Ciba, Pastor of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Jersey City, was also appointed

Dean of the Jersey City Downtown Deanery, Deanery 11, for a term of five years, effective Nov. 7.

Reverend Lawrence J. Fama, Pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, Maywood, was also appointed

Dean of the South Central Bergen Deanery, Deanery 5, for a term of five years, effective Oct. 19.

Reverend Timothy G. Graff, Director of the Office of Human Concerns and Pastoral Moderator of the

CYO Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Archdiocese of Newark, was also appointed Dean of the

Essex Central Newark Deanery, Deanery 20 for a term of five years, effective Oct. 11.

Reverend Monsignor Ronald J. Marczewski, Pastor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Bayonne, was

also appointed Dean of the Bayonne Deanery, Deanery 13, for a term of five years, effective Nov. 7.

Reverend Nigel R. Mohammed, Pastor of St. Anne Parish, Jersey City, was also appointed Dean of

the Jersey City North Deanery, Deanery 10, for a term of five years, effective Nov. 7.

CHAPLAIN

Reverend John T.Michalczak, Parochial Vicar of St. Adalbert/Ss. Peter & Paul Parish,

Elizabeth, has been appointed Chaplain at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Elizabeth, effective

immediately, with continued residence at St. Adalbert/Ss. Peter & Paul Parish.
