DETROIT (AP) -- The pastor of an area Roman Catholic parish has resigned after being removed from his position because of allegations of sexual abuse involving minors.

The Rev. William Brennan, 75, of St. Sebastian Parish in Dearborn Heights was placed on administrative leave on Tuesday and was restricted from any public ministry, Archdiocese of Detroit officials said in a statement.
