WHO: A Coalition for Truth -- Seeking answers from Cardinal Mahony Members of Voice of the Faithful, Survivors of Silence and Stones of Silence have come together to create an opportunity for dialogue regarding the sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church here in Los Angeles.

In view of local trials, it seems appropriate that broad-based

open discussion of this issue begins.

Invitations have been extended to Cardinal Mahony, members of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles staff, local theologians, survivors of clerical sexual abuse, priests, psychiatrists, local law enforcement, journalists, and attorneys representing both the Archdiocese and the survivors of clergy sexual abuse.

WHAT: A Panel Discussion regarding the current crisis in the Catholic Church There will be a presentation at each meeting of Cardinal Mahony's "Report to the People of God" as well as the John Jay Report commissioned by the US Bishops Conference.

Come for honest dialogue about the Clergy Sexual Abuse Scandal in the Roman Catholic Church. Come with your questions or information. Come to listen and to share.

Our goal is to assist the local lay faithful to face the truth without turning away.

We want to work together toward healing and reconciliation.
