	Former Local Priest in Court CD98.9 [Canada] August 3, 2006 http://www.cd989.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=5877 A retired priest that once worked in a Port Dover church is facing sex abuse charges is due in a Chatham court today. Belle River's Charles Sylvestre faces a total of 61 counts of sexual abuse from 47 women. The 83-year-old former priest faces charges of indecent assault, sexual assault and sexual intercourse with a female under 14 years old. All of the alleged incidents occurred over a 31 year period beginning in 1954.
