	Miami Man, 23, Says He Was Abused by Priest By Mike Clary South Florida Sun-Sentinel October 26, 2007 http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/miami/sfl-1026abusedbypriest,0,3583069.story Miami - A 23-year-old Miami man alleged Friday that he was sexually abused as a teenager by the pastor of St. Timothy's Catholic Church. In a complaint filed in Miami-Dade circuit court by attorney Jeffrey Herman, the man identified as John Doe, said that the Rev. Rolando Castillo repeatedly abused him during a period six years ago, when the plaintiff was 17. In alleging negligence, the lawsuit asserts "the Archdiocese [of Miami] knew or should have known that Castillo was sexually abusing boys and took no action to protect John." The suit seeks in excess of $10 million. Mary Ross Agosta, a spokesperson for the Archdiocese, said she would reserve comment until she was able to review the complaint. The Archdiocese of Miami includes Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties.
