	Abuse Lawsuit against Priest Settled for $1.3 Million WOAI March 4, 2008 http://www.woai.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=f9b47466-2d25-460f-a288-5b72020d910d A group dedicated to helping people abused by priests has announced that a settlement worth $1.3 million has been reached by a local religious order. The "Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests", or SNAP, settled a lawsuit against a religious group called "The Oblates" and Father Antonio Gonzalez. The former Houston priest was accused of molesting a teenage girl and getting her pregnant before he transferred to Canada. According to SNAP, Father Gonzalez also worked at churches in Austin, Eagle Pass and Laredo.
