THE allegations made against a former St Stanislaus’ College president, bursar and priest have caused the school community great pain, principal John Edwards said yesterday.

Mr Edwards said the college was holding to its position and actions, supporting police to investigate all of the allegations in the midst of very challenging and difficult times for the school.

“St Stanislaus’ wants to respond in the best way we can,” Mr Edwards said.

“The college does not want to be criticised for trying to maintain the reputation of St Stanislaus’ from damage being caused by the allegations.
