Testimony expected from parents of girls removed from Alamo’s Fouke compound
Final custody hearings for six girls removed in September from the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries compound in Fouke, Ark., will begin today on the second floor of the Miller County Courthouse.
Circuit Judge Jim Hudson will preside over hearings for two of six girls, ages 10 to 17, who were deemed “in immediate danger” by the Arkansas Department of Human Services after a raid on the compound Sept. 20.
The FBI and Arkansas State Police executed search warrants for the main house, where Alamo lives, and the compound’s gymnasium.
