Hundreds Line Up for Mass to Celebrate Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe

News 4 WOAI received a shocking e-mail from a person who claims he and friend were sexually abused by priests at San Fernando Cathedral. His e-mail came after a story of abuse by three priests at San Antonio's famous church aired Tuesday night.

In his e-mail, the man wrote that he had been holding in his secret for years, since he was 13 or 14 years old. He named Father David Zumaya as his attacker.

News 4 WOAI took his e-mail to the Archdiocese of San Antonio. Deacon Pat Rodgers told us another person had also come forward.

In all, four people this week have claimed Father Zumaya, Father Larry Hernandez or Louis White sexually abused them during their time at the church.

Unfortunately, the statute of limitations has run out. Nothing can be done about them now but Deacon Rodgers says something can be done mentally.

He hopes the man who wrote us the e-mail will take advantage of help available to abuse victims. They can call the Archdiocese at 877-700-1888 or the Survivor Network for those Abused by Priests at 210-725-8329.
