A former Catholic priest who worked at Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda has been accused of sexually abusing boys at the school.

Montgomery County police said two people reported last year that 57-year-old Garrett D. Orr inappropriately touched them while they were students at the school.

One of the alleged incidents occurred in 1989, the other 2002. Police said one victim reported the abuse in June 2010 and the other reported it in December.

Orr taught at Georgetown Prep from 1989 and 2003.

Orr was arrested in Pennsylvania this month and charged as a fugitive from justice. He then turned himself in to Montgomery County authorities to face charges of child abuse and a third-degree sexual offense.

Georgetown Prep officials could not immediately be reached for comment, but police say the school is cooperating.
