	Catholic Brother's Sex Crime San Francisco Chronicle November 9, 1989 A Salesian brother assigned to the Corpus Christi Church in the Excelsior District pleaded guilty yesterday to one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a boy under 14. Brother Salvatore Billante, 50, faces a maximum prison term of eight years. In return for his guilty plea, a second count of lewd and lascivious acts with a second boy was dismissed. Municipal Court Judge Dorothy von Beroldingen ordered Brother Billante to report to Superior Court for sentencing December 6. He remains free on $ 10,000 bail.
