The Archdiocese of Mobile has provided the following timeline for the Rev. Arthur C. Schrenger, who was dismissed from ministry Tuesday after he "confirmed two instances of misconduct with minors prior to 1985." Some dates overlap because some assignments overlapped.

•April 20, 1946: Born in Louisville, Ky.

•Sept. 1963-June 1966: Attended college at St. Mary's College in St. Mary, Ky.

•Sept. 1966-June 1969: Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans

•Sept. 1969-June 1972: Teacher at Madonna Manor in Marrero, La.

•Sept. 1972-June 1975: St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore

•June 14, 1975: Ordained to the priesthood at Mobile's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception by the Most Rev. John L. May, bishop of Mobile

•July 1975-May 1976: Associate pastor at Little Flower Catholic Church in Mobile

•May 1976-Sept. 1979: Associate pastor at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Mobile

•May 1976-May 1983: Religion teacher at McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile

•Sept. 1979-Sept. 1983: Associate pastor at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Tillman's Corner

•Jan. 1981-April 1999: Assistant director of vocations for the Archdiocese of Mobile

•Sept. 1983-Aug. 1984: Graduate studies at St. Mary's Seminary and University in Baltimore •Aug. 1984-Dec. 1987: Religion teacher at McGill-Toolen High School in Mobile

•Sept. 1984-June 1986: Pastor of St. Agatha Catholic Church in Bay Minette

•June 1986-Dec. 1987: In residence at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mobile

•Dec. 1987-April 1999: Pastor of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit in Montgomery

•April 1999-Sept. 1999: Leave of absence for health reasons

•Oct. 1999-April 2003: Appointed to the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Mobile

•Jan. 2000-May 2002: Appointed to studies at Cath olic University of America for a licentiate degree in canon law
