	10 Area Priests to Be Reviewed Dayton Daily News September 18, 2003 A child protection review board for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cincinnati will review the cases of 10 abusive diocesan priests this fall. They are: Keith Albrecht , who was placed on administrative leave in 1993 from St. Luke Church in Beavercreek. John Berning , 96, no longer in active ministry. Thomas Brunner , who resigned Tuesday as pastor of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy. Thomas Hopp , who resigned in April from Queen of Martyrs Church in Harrison Twp. David Kelley , former associate pastor at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia. Francis Massarella , 87, former chaplain of Mercy Siena Woods nursing home in Harrison Twp. who had limited duties at St. John the Baptist. Daniel Pater , who recently resigned a high-ranking Vatican diplomatic post in India. Kenneth Schoettmer, former priest at Queen of Peace parish in Butler County who was sentenced to probation in June after pleading guilty to fondling a 17-year-old boy. Lawrence Strittmatter , former associate pastor at St. Albert the Great Church in Kettering. Richard Unwin , who was removed as pastor at St. John the Baptist in Tipp City in August.
