Ramon J. Buckley, 68, 425 Spring St., who died Monday at St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Daniel Funeral Home and an hour before services Friday at the church in Golden Valley. St. Luke's Christian Women will pray at 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Clearwater followed by St. Luke's parish prayers at 6 and Clearwater American Legion at 8. Father Ramon Buckley was born in Mankato to Bernard and Elvera (Schirrschmidt) Buckley. He was in the U.S. Air Force and entered his priestly studies in 1970. He was ordained into priesthood in 1977 at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, by Archbishop John Roach. He was in the parishes of St. Weneslaus, New Prague; Sacred Heart, Robbinsdale; St. Mark's, St. Paul; St. Mary's, Bellechester; St. Paul's, Zumbrota; Holy Cross, northeast Minneapolis; and St. Luke's, Clearwater. He was a member of Calix Society, Clearwater American Legion, and Knights of Columbus, Bellechester. Survivors include his brother and sisters, Eugene of North Mankato, Kathleen Foerster of Columbus, N.C., diAnne McGowen of San Diego, and Janice Eigen of Comfrey.
