Note on Publication Schedule of Official Catholic Directory: The Official Catholic Directory is published once a year, and it aims to report the whereabouts of every Catholic priest in the United States on January 1 of its publication year. But the data for the 2006 Directory, for example, was collected in fall 2005. Some late adjustments are made, but if the 2006 Directory locates a priest in a particular parish, he is likely to have worked in that parish for at least part of 2005 as well.

Note on the Assignment Records: We have assembled these assignment records from the entries in the Official Catholic Directory, a useful book but sometimes an inaccurate guide. If the assignment records are incorrect, please email us with corrections. Accusations of sexual abuse against these priests have been referenced in the media or in publicly filed court documents. We remind our readers that in the U.S. legal system, an accused person is considered innocent until proven guilty.
