LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Mo. – Court documents reviewed by NBC Action News Tuesday unveil details about accusations against a 77-year-old man and his four sons, who are all charged in a child sex crimes case in Lafayette County.

A search warrant filed for the search of the property once owned by the Mohler family says investigators were combing the farm, just south of Bates City, for evidence that could help them in the investigation into the alleged sex crimes, but also evidence connected to an alleged homicide and a body buried on the property.

Detectives say they found an unidentified bone, eyeglasses, broken glass jars, half a credit card and the sole of a shoe or a boot.

Other information filed Monday in court says one of the victims accused Burrell Mohler Jr., of taking three young girls to help him kidnap and the attack a man they picked up at Independence Center.

The victim alleges they were then driven to the farm near Bates City where the man was killed and buried.

One of the victims is also saying that as a child, she remembers seeing another child confined to a crawl space under the house.

Mohler Jr., his three brothers, his father and his uncle have all been charged in the case. His uncle, Darrel Mohler, appeared in court Tuesday in Florida, where he is expecting to waive extradition and return to Missouri to face the charges filed in Lafayette County.
