A former altar boy is slated to return to court to testify in a second priest-abuse trial in Philadelphia.

The 24-year-old says he was raped as a boy by two parish priests and his sixth-grade teacher. He’s spent much of his later life addicted to drugs, but his lawyer says he’s recovering.

Update, 10 a.m. The trial has been postponed after a lawyer in the Philadelphia case had a death in the family. The Rev. Charles Engelhardt and Bernard Shero are due back in court Friday to get a new trial date.

The other person accused, defrocked priest Edward Avery, is in prison after pleading guilty to sexual assault.
