El exobispo de Ayacucho Gabino Miranda habría sido denunciado por un menor de 14 años oriundo de Huanta por “tocamientos indebidos”.
Según fuentes de la revista Caretas, la presunta víctima era su monaguillo y el abuso ocurrió durante un acto de confesión en la iglesia San Francisco de Paula, a una cuadra de la Plaza de Armas de Huamanga, en 2012.
Luego de que el Vaticano destituyera a Miranda por las acusaciones de pedofilia que pesan en su contra, la Fiscalía de esa región le abrió de oficio una investigación.
El fiscal Garay Chávez, de la Primera Fiscalía Provincial de Huamanga, dijo al semanario que ignora si hay más víctimas de Miranda.
