Brooklyn child sex assault suspect busted in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills Police officers and detectives have arrested a former Brooklyn man accused of molesting boys back in New York.

Cops responded to the 9900 block of S. Santa Monica Boulevard Tuesday afternoon at the request of the New York Police Department to execute an arrest warrant on Menachem Tewel, 30.

He was taken into custody without incident for the warrant charging New York statutes of “Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree,” “Criminal Sexual Act in the Third Degree” and “Sexual Abuse in the First Degree”.

Tewel, who was arrested at a Beverly Hills community center, is awaiting extradition to New York.

There are no charges pending in California.
